Just a beginning

On a peaceful Thursday afternoon, I found myself hooked on the intriguing world of “Is he gonna be back timeless tarot card reading” on YouTube. The enchantment of pile 3’s predictions lingered in my thoughts, hinting at the possibility of a return — a mix of fanciful and comforting thoughts.

I get it, spending time on such mystical stuff might not scream productivity, especially on a regular workday. But isn’t there something beautiful about embracing the simple moments in life? The essence of living isn’t just about chasing big goals; it’s also about finding joy in quiet reflections and little distractions that add color to our daily routine.

As my online adventure unfolded, I couldn’t help but think about my search history — a quirky collection of interests that might raise eyebrows among my office buddies. The focus of my curiosity isn’t just a person; they symbolize a phase, a fleeting chapter in my 27-year-long story.

Sometimes, it’s not just about missing specific people but about facing the shadow of solitude and the fear of a journey into adulthood without love. The ’Tis season is here, and Bangalore, decked out in Christmas colors, seems ready for festive cheer. But beneath the happy exterior, there’s a reminder that for some, the holidays amplify the echoes of loneliness.

As the city transforms into a canvas of red and green hopes for a brighter tomorrow, I find myself reflecting on my own journey. The holiday season, with all its contagious joy, also acts as a mirror, showing the reality of having few companions in this new city.

Has it always been like this? Looking back, it seems that navigating adulthood is much more complicated than my naive 22-year-old self thought. Life weaves a tapestry in unexpected ways, blending threads of solitude, companionship, love, and fleeting moments.

In this weave of shared stories, I share my own, acknowledging the universal feeling of loneliness that runs through the human experience. By sharing our stories, we bridge the gaps that separate us, finding comfort in the shared vulnerability that guides us through the mysterious maze of life.
